I know you might disagree because everybody is talking about how great the Social Media is, and how everybody is a Social Media expert.  But the truth is that Twitter is waste of your time, people are busy they don’t have time to click on your twits or retweet your post.  Most of the people on twitter are spammers they just promote their own product, or promote the product of their clients. Just to give you some personal statistics, I had photography account with over 5,000 followers. When I twitted any post only about 10 people actually click on it, and maybe 2 retweets . How to Build an Online Business without Creating a Full-Time Job http://www.mediagrow.net/how-to-build-an-online-business-without-creating-a-full-time-job/ http://www.mediagrow.net/how-to-build-an-online-business-without-creating-a-full-time-job/#comments Mon, 25 Oct 2010 10:55:06 +0000 admin http://www.mediagrow.net/?p=618 Internet marketing and working from home has become a viable career option within the last ten years. People have plunged into online entrepreneurship, expecting that a website or blog will magically make money with little effort. While online businesses do require less start-up capital than traditional businesses, the success is neither easy nor guaranteed.  Establishing an online business requires forethought, planning, research and hard work.

In order to succeed, you have to create a strong business plan that contains how your business will make money, what expenses you will incur, and how your business may thrive and succeed in the current economy. This article outlines four important things to consider when starting an online business.

1. Automate Your Business

You must figure out what aspects of an online business can “run themselves”. For example, if you are an online retailer, this can include your web platform and content management, as well as the distribution and communication systems. You want to make use of the technology at hand in order to ensure that some of the day to day tasks are efficiently managed without you having to do the work.

2. Create a Team

Make sure you know what your strengths and weaknesses are when it comes to the daily activities of establishing a company. Ensure that you get expert help in unfamiliar fields. You will want a strong team of experts in technology and online marketing as well as finance, law and tax. For internet-based businesses in particular, you will want to invest in someone who knows how to handle internet traffic, SEO strategy, Adwords advertising, Social Media and the like. You have chosen to go “online” for a reason, so make sure you invest the right effort in the technological advances an online business has to offer.

3. Outsource Offline Work

Remember that not all aspects of your business are fully online. Be sure to outsource the “backend” portion of your online business.  For example, if you are selling books and DVDs through your internet business, you will have to invest in storage and distribution services. This infrastructure must be established before you make your first sale. Make sure you use a reputable company to secure top-notch services for this crucial part of your business.

4. Hire a Virtual Assistant

Once you have outsourced your online platform as well as your offline duties, you will need to hire a manager or a virtual assistant to handle your account relations.  Hiring an expert virtual assistant and delegating managerial work is the key to being able to take time away from your business. In an online business, unlike a conventional business, you do not need to have your staff with you. Your team of experts, as well as your personal assistant can be anywhere in the world. There are many online platforms where you can find and hire qualified people to do your routine work as well as your administration tasks.

Alex Papa has created several online organizations in the last few years leveraging on automation and outsourcing. In his site he provides a review of the best small business opportunities. In his blog you can get the Norton promotional code.

Make Money While Being Creative http://www.mediagrow.net/make-money-while-being-creative/ http://www.mediagrow.net/make-money-while-being-creative/#comments Mon, 18 Oct 2010 10:55:25 +0000 admin http://www.mediagrow.net/?p=581 Whether you are a graphic designer, web designer, photographer or other creative professional, there are many opportunities for you to make passive or full-time income doing what you love. You have the edge over other people who don’t have your talent but need a professional looking website, banner, logo, etc. There are many places where you can sell your art and make money online. As you already know the web world changes all the time; one day the flash websites are popular, next day the CSS friendly user-interface is in, and then it’s the clean and professional look with which everybody is in love. People are always looking for some new fresh look, either for their blog, or for their new e-book cover; something that is eye catchy and will drive customers to buy your product. How many times have you bought something just because of the cover? Everyone is looking for that unique look and style so if you are a creative type, selling your art and making money should be fairly easy.

Well that’s great but what about people who are not creative? They don’t know how to design a logo or re-design someone’s website or blog to be unique and professional.

Not a problem. That’s why everyone is getting into Outsourcing (How to Outsource your work…). You don’t have to be an expert in CSS or Flash animation. If you find websites or banners that you love and you click on them just because they grab your attention, why not get a designer overseas or elsewhere and talk to him/her to help you create something similar. Then you can turn around and sell it for triple that price, now that’s being creative. Trust me, there are many people who are running web design companies but have never designed a single website.

AffiloRama | Affiliate Marketing Training Portal http://www.mediagrow.net/affilorama-affiliate-marketing-training-portal/ http://www.mediagrow.net/affilorama-affiliate-marketing-training-portal/#comments Fri, 15 Oct 2010 10:33:26 +0000 admin http://www.mediagrow.net/?p=536 Few weeks ago there was a lot of buzz about AffiloRoma, so I wanted to check it out and see if this program is any good. Affilorama is a training and community site for aspiring affiliate marketers.  This is a step-by-step process on how to make money online with affiliate program. Affilorama is not only a training course, it is also a community. This ensures that users are not left in the dark whenever they have questions or concerns.

They have over 50,000 + members, so the community is fairly big and it doesn’t seem to be a scam. What I like about this program is that since you will be paying a monthly fee between $10-$50 you will be getting the customer support and the quality you deserve.

I hope you know by now that good product and training cost money, and that anything free is only limited quality. I always say you have to pay for good education Harvard University is not free right!

Check it out maybe this is your key to success. As you know most people who are making living with affiliate programs spend a lot of money before they discovered the right formula to make money online.

Stay Away From PPC, Get Into Affiliate Marketing http://www.mediagrow.net/stay-away-from-ppc-get-into-affiliate-marketing/ http://www.mediagrow.net/stay-away-from-ppc-get-into-affiliate-marketing/#comments Tue, 12 Oct 2010 00:54:52 +0000 admin http://www.mediagrow.net/?p=501 Affiliate Marketing and PPC (Pay Per Click) are the most commonly used methods of earning money online. Most people use PPC to make money because it’s easy to setup and brings instant revenue. The only thing with PPC is that unless you have huge traffic, you will not make a significant amount. Another problem with PPC is that nobody clicks on ads anymore.  Google ads used to be very popular a few years ago, some people made thousands of dollars each month, but now people are much smarter and ignore the ads. So unless you have millions of visitors each month you will not be making enough money to quit your day job.

PPC vs. Affiliate Marketing

1. With PPC Google ads you’re making a few dollars to send your traffic to your competitor, who is now making 10x that by selling the affiliate product.

2. Google will ban your site if you click on your own ads by mistake.  Once your site is banned from the Google ad program it’s almost impossible to get it back. With affiliate marketing you have nothing to worry about, because you only get paid when someone actually buys the product.

3. With Affiliate marketing, people will buy because they trust you and they trust the product you sell. With PPC most people know that you just care about making money instead of helping others, so they will ignore your ads.

The bottom line is that it will take more time to make good money with Affiliate marketing but it will be worth the effort and hard work you put into it. There are a lot more people making a good living with affiliate programs then there are those who run PPC on their website or blog. Affiliate Marketing is the way to go.

How To Find a Hungry Crowd of People http://www.mediagrow.net/how-to-find-a-hungry-crowd-of-people/ http://www.mediagrow.net/how-to-find-a-hungry-crowd-of-people/#comments Tue, 05 Oct 2010 10:16:47 +0000 admin http://www.mediagrow.net/?p=484 Before we can find a hungry crowd of people we have to narrow it down to how exactly are you going to make money online. Are you going to be selling tangible goods such as mp3 players, homemade cookies, baseball cards, or are you going to sell downloadable products such as e-books, or are you more interested in services, such as writer or web designer?  Some of the top markets in which to make money will be in Health, Wealth, and Relationships. But that doesn’t mean that you have to stick with those; there are plenty of other markets with which you can make money online.

3 Main Categories of Making Money Online

1. Selling tangible goods (mp3 players, cd’s, homemade cookies, women’s designer bags)

2. Promoting Downloadable Products ( e-books, wordpress themes, software)

3. Promoting Services (blog writer, web designer, php programmer )

If you don’t know what tangible goods you can be selling, then check out E-bay or Amazon and see what the top selling products are on those websites. For E-bay look what people are searching for by going to pulse.ebay.com .  However those markets can be very hard to break in, so be more specific.  For example the top searches on E-bay are mostly for iphone or ipod, so your niche could be in custom made iphone cases for the Holidays such as Christmas or Halloween that’s a niche you could be selling.

If you are more interested in promoting your e-book or getting into an affiliate program and selling someone else’s e-books, then the best way to see whats selling and what  you should focus on is to check out ClickBank .  Click the general topic you’re interested in and you will see a number of products for affiliate promotion. Use this website to see what direction you should focus whether it be health, weight loss, relationships, you decide what interests you the most.

If you have a knack for services but don’t know where the most money is, then check out the website dummies.com and see what people need help.  Remember that the internet is all about searching for help, learning things that will make our lives easier and fixing problems. See what others want to learn and maybe you have a better way of helping them. Maybe you know some short cuts on how to fix a broken door knob, or repair a water boiler. Take some ideas and make them better.

Once you narrow your search of what you want to do, then you will use some tools to find how many people are actually looking for your niche market, so you can make money.

Google Keyword Tool (A Google tool lets you see how many people are searching for specific keywords each month)

MarketSamurai (Market Samurai is Noble Samurai’s flagship keyword research software package.  Market Samurai enables you to Find and Target Profitable Niches with Pinpoint Accuracy.)

Make sure you focus on relative key words, and long tail keywords you can optimize. Looking for people to buy your product is not easy, but if you do your research and focus on your product then making money online will not be as hard as you think.
