Stay Away From PPC, Get Into Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate Marketing and PPC (Pay Per Click) are the most commonly used methods of earning money online. Most people use PPC to make money because it’s easy to setup and brings instant revenue. The only thing with PPC is that unless you have huge traffic, you will not make a significant amount. Another problem with PPC is that nobody clicks on ads anymore. Google ads used to be very popular a few years ago, some people made thousands of dollars each month, but now people are much smarter and ignore the ads. So unless you have millions of visitors each month you will not be making enough money to quit your day job.
PPC vs. Affiliate Marketing
1. With PPC Google ads you’re making a few dollars to send your traffic to your competitor, who is now making 10x that by selling the affiliate product.
2. Google will ban your site if you click on your own ads by mistake. Once your site is banned from the Google ad program it’s almost impossible to get it back. With affiliate marketing you have nothing to worry about, because you only get paid when someone actually buys the product.
3. With Affiliate marketing, people will buy because they trust you and they trust the product you sell. With PPC most people know that you just care about making money instead of helping others, so they will ignore your ads.
The bottom line is that it will take more time to make good money with Affiliate marketing but it will be worth the effort and hard work you put into it. There are a lot more people making a good living with affiliate programs then there are those who run PPC on their website or blog. Affiliate Marketing is the way to go.

I agree. I never got into PPC. I did not think it was a viable option for me and am doing affiliate marketing. It is going to take time to build it up, but if I stay with it, I will be glad I did.

It’s true that affiliate pays much better, but you need a very targeted website for it. For example I have some blogs that cover a big topic and it’s hard to make many conversions.

I agree, PPC is just ” for the heck of having one” or “just encase someone will”
and that sort of thing, With affiliate programs its another ball game but the fact remains not every body make tons of money in affiliate programs as well. Which make both issues on an equal level. in the end its the guy who has the marketing tools, probably the blogs, or just the right business opportunity mix with all the necessary value to make a difference.
